NCR Money Tokens |

I was commissioned by NCR to produce a simulation of a money token system. The tokens effectively contained money that could be spent, diminishing the the sum that was securely held in the token's processor. It could be re-charged at any stage at a "hole in the wall" ATM. My task was to set up two simulated shops, a bank an ATM and a home terminal to illuminate the whole process for demonstration purposes to the world's leading bankers. The system had total financial integrity in that it tracked a bank account on the bank's PC and the bank was cognoscente of all transactions both in and out of the shops and the ATM and knew at any moment how much "money" was held in a range of tokens of differing denominations. |
