NCR Money Tokens On the left is the ferrite-cored receiving coil that received the energy from the token holder to light the LED wirelessly. This drain on the radio tag transmission system was fine because the radio tag was in such close proximity to the transmission coil. The Texas Instruments radio-tag can be seen on the right with its receiving coil on the left and its chip on the right. The radio tag can receive and store data wirelessly from the token holders and it can also be interrogated for the data it contains; wirelessly. It is ideal for the task in a simulation. The plastic tag-case itself was designed by Uziel Malamovka. |
